Neurosurgeon – Medical Director Position in Coastal Florida

  • Clinical Role:
    • Seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon with experience in cerebrovascular surgery
    • Take advantage of an opportunity to participate in building a brand-new Neuro program and ultimately a certified comprehensive stroke center
    • Hospital Employed Role
    • Duties:
      • Serve as Medical Director
      • Implement and manage an INR Program
    • Neurosurgery department will provide 24/7 cerebrovascular/INR call coverage
    • 24/7 Anesthesia support for complex INR procedures (emergent & elective)
    • Operating Room staffed and equipped to manage advanced neurosurgical intervention including aneurysm and other cerebrovascular surgical intervention
    • Dedicated Advanced Practice Support (ARNP) & 24/7 Trained INR RNs
      • If you have a team of APPs, they can be considered for employment
    • Medical Imaging Team will be in place
    • Common & Required Procedures:
      • Diagnostic Cerebral Angiogram
      • Thrombectomy
      • Intracranial, extracranial
      • Embolization – AVM, w/coiling
      • Intra-Arterial t-PA (IA t-PA)
      • Vasospasm Treatment (IA Verapamil) Coil – Sub Arachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH)
      • Mechanical & Chemical Angioplasty
      • Intracranial Angioplasty
      • Venogram
      • Carotid Stent
      • Chemical Angiogram
      • Coil – Aneurysm
      • Spinal Angiogram
      • Lumbar Puncture Stents
      • Epistaxis Coil
      • WADA Test
      • Craniotomy with endovascular w/MCC
      • Craniotomy & endovascular intracranial process
      • Ventricular shunt
    • Group Size:
