A Barton Associates client in Arkansas is looking for a neurological surgeon who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months beginning in mid-July with a high chance of extension for three months. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician can expect to see between 16-20 patients in clinic and between 2-3 patients in OR, all adults for a variety of cases: Discectomy, Laminectomy, Decompression of the spine and nerves (back and neck), Cervical Fusion, Fusion of the spine, Surgical treatment of spine or brain infections, Management of traumatic brain injury and Scoliosis evaluation/treatment in adults. The provider will work Monday through Friday from either 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This facility uses Dr. Chrono EMR and Ambra from images. The client will provide training.
