Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) is seeking a BC/BE Endovascular Neurosurgeon or Neurologist for a full time academic appointment to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas.
The candidate should have demonstrated by prior training and experience superior skills in endovascular procedures and will be expected to join a growing neurointerventional team composed of an endovascular neurosurgeon and an interventional neuroradiologist. Accredited fellowship training in neuro interventional surgery is required and additional training and experience in neuro critical care is highly desirable. The candidate is expected to participate fully in the clinical and academic activities of the program, including assuming an active role in resident training, teaching, and investigative endeavors. Diverse research opportunities are available and encouraged at the basic, translational, clinical, and health services/outcomes research levels.
The Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with eight full-time neurosurgeons in a major teaching hospital and a level-I Trauma Center. The candidate will be eligible for principal faculty appointment with Texas A&M University College of Medicine with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.
