Hospital in a coastal resort community in Michigan is hiring a BC/BE Neurosurgeon. Immediate, full-time, and permanent need for a Neurosurgeon to join an established practice with highly-trained and extremely passionate colleagues. The practice has high spine volume and candidates interested in brain and spine are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to join the medical staff of a progressive and growing regional hospital. Hospital is working towards a Level II Trauma Center designation. Shared call coverage of 1:3 (including trauma call). Practicing physicians, new graduates, and physicians on H-1B visas are all welcome to apply.
This community is located on the shores of Lake Michigan's beautiful Little Traverse Bay in northwest, lower-Peninsula Michigan. The historic architecture, seasonal activities, and miles of waterfront make it a great place to settle year-round. It's a wonderful place to raise a family with its excellent schools (both public and parochial) and community sports programs. The historic downtown offers many gourmet restaurants, specialty shops, and boutiques; as well as an active art and music community leading to very diverse and exciting opportunities to both watch and participate in music and theater. In the winter, the Winter Sports Park offers outdoor hockey, ice skating, and sledding; while the summer provides tubing, swimming, and countless beaches and woods to explore. Several hiking and biking trails wind throughout the area – some are even part of the North Country Trail, which links seven states and covers 4,600 miles from New York to North Dakota.
