Valley Baptist Medical Center- Harlingen is seeking a well-trained Neurosurgeon to join the Harlingen Physicians Network to aid in providing quality care to our growing service area. Join our stable and established group of 47 physicians, specialties including primary care, neurology, hospitalists, intensivists, cardiologists, ID, orthopedics, palliative care, psychiatry, PM&R, and surgeons, as well as residents, and enjoy a collegial atmosphere and great community support.
The position will be based primarily at Valley Baptist Harlingen, but some cases will be handled at the Brownsville location. Hospital call is paid and will be shared with 1-2 other community Neurosurgeons.
Candidates must be BC/BE in Neurosurgery, have a favorable malpractice history, excellent references, and an active Texas medical license (or in process). Training/interest in pediatrics and/or Scoliosis is a plus. Spanish language skills preferred, but not required. Please submit CV for immediate consideration.
