Job Description
TYPE OF WORK:

The type of workshall include, but not limited to, the following:

Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
Provide outpatient services for scheduled patients.
Provide inpatient care.
Provide daily evaluation and clinical management decisions for patients based on the evaluation of patients during rounds.
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
Prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established standards in accordance with the most current version of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 41-35, “Health Record Documentation”.
Possess basic computer skills, to include data entry.
Other related duties as assigned.
Must Haves
QUALIFICATIONS:

Current board certification in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Shall possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past seven (7) years in neurosurgery.
