This opportunity comes with a $380,000 salary plus a production bonus as a hospital employed General Surgeon. There is a strong need for your services with a draw area of over 250,000. My client is a 325 bed regional healthcare facility and has an excellent payer and patient mix and a strong referral base allowing you to be busy from day one. This need is for a General Surgeon who would be comfortable in a hospital employed practice with a 1:4 call schedule. Desire to do minor vascular, thoracic, dialysis ports a plus but not required. There is an excellent benefits package including a sign-on bonus ($50,000), relocation allowance, student loan assistance ($150,000), health insurance, malpractice, and much more.
Activities abound in this vibrant southern city which has nineteen parks, several recreation centers, a community center, swimming pools, eighteen-hole golf courses (public and private), eight tennis courts, eleven baseball fields, and eight softball fields. One can fish, sail, swim or ski on one of the beautiful lakes. The bass fishing in this area has been called the best in the country. There is also deer, dove, turkey, squirrel and even alligators to hunt. Also enjoy golf, tennis and swimming at the country club.
