General Surgery Locums Coverage Needed in New Mexico
• 24 hour Call Coverage Shifts
• Usually 10-12 Open Shifts per Month
• Emergency Surgeries & Cover Surgical Inpatients
• ED Consults Average 3-6 per 24hrs
• Average 7-10 Patients Seen per 24hrs
• Hospitalist Program Does Admissions
• Procedures: Hernia Repair, Pancreatic Surgery, Tracheotomy, Liver Surgery, Appendectomy, Chest Tube Insertion, Biliary Surgery, Bowel Surgery, Exploratory Laparotomy for Trauma or Illness, IV Catheter Placement, Adenoidectomy, Vena Cava Ligation, Tonsillectomy, Wedge Resection Ear, Laparoscopic Bowel Resection, Diagnostic Laparoscopy
