This beautiful resort community is looking for a Bread and Butter Orthopedic Surgeon. Join one other orthopedic surgeon, along with an NP , a PA, and a Sports Medicine Doctor. Shared call. Opportunity to buy into surgery center. Demand is there for a lucrative practice. Affiliated with a 100 bed hospital with a serving area over 60,000 people. The community is strategically nestled among south central New Mexico's prime resort areas, located in the desert high country between the majestic Sacramento Mountains and Lincoln National Forest on the east and the dazzling White Sands National Monument to the west. Situated 209 miles south of Albuquerque, NM, 69 miles northeast of Las Cruces, and 86 miles north of El Paso, TX. The population statistics show a median age of 28.8 years, a 2.6% annual growth rate.. Unemployment is 7.6% with the major employers being Holloman Air Force Base, Presto, Vebco, Scott Air/Motors, several light industries and manufactures dealing with wood products-cabinetry.
