Job Description

Last Update: 9/18/19

Join a practicing surgeon in La Quinta, California, located in Southern California’s beautiful Coachella Valley. Existing surgeon relocated to La Quinta and started his own solo practice just 1 ½ years ago and is already at capacity with a backlog of cases. A physician community needs survey indicates a deficit of 9.4 surgeons, so there is plenty of opportunity to build a practice and a future here. ED call shared with several surgeons and practice call shared 1:2. Preferred candidate will have at least 1 or 2 years of practice experience and have proficiency in endoscopy.

The opportunity offers a partnership track, autonomy, a service area with a deficit of surgeons, reward for your efforts, access to big city amenities and living where the sun shines over 300 days per year! If this appeals to you then send a CV for immediate consideration.

La Quinta, California is one of 9 cities that comprise the Coachella Valley, also known as the Greater Palm Springs region. This beautiful sun drenched desert community with its soaring palm trees and picturesque mountains provide a perfect atmosphere in which to live, visit, work and play. Enjoy golf, tennis, hiking and biking, as well as a variety of restaurants, high end shopping and cultural amenities. This is not just a resort and retirement area. The Coachella Valley has approximately 500,000 year round residents and continues to grow and attract young families every year. And when you want to get away you can travel by air at the Palm Springs International Airport or a 2 ½ hour drive gets you to the Pacific Ocean, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Bear Mountain Lake and Ski resorts.

All candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clean record and a California License, or application in process.
