**Endovascular Neurosurgery opportunity in Ocala, FL** Located 75 miles from Orlando *Positioned for continued growth and expansion in the Neurosciences and Comprehensive Stroke services, medical center seeks an exceptionally well-trained Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join their successful program.* **Position Details:** - Full-time - Permanent position - Employed - Existing Practice - In and Outpatient **Practice Details:** - DNV Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Program - Work with an interdisciplinary team of 2 Neurologists, 3 Neurosurgeons, Neurointerventionalist, APPs and Intensivists. - Strong support service from hospital with our Emergency Department clinicians and supports staff. - The incoming surgeon would primarily focus on endovascular procedures but have the ability to build a successful elective practice. - Hospital-based support with in-house APP team as well as Neurohospitalists assisting with taking primary stroke call. - Neurocritical care coverage managed by Intensivist team with support of Comprehensive Stroke team. - Elective practice located in a 10,000 sq ft office - Offsite EMR and imaging database access from home, office and hospital **Qualifications:** - Board certified / board eligible by the ABMS in Neurosurgery - MD or DO - ACGME accredited fellowship in endovascular Neurosurgery - Experience is a plus **Compensation Package:** - Competitive compensation - Great comprehensive and flexible benefits program - PTO and CME time / allowance - Occurrence-based malpractice - Strong support system **About the Health System:** Health system consists of: a 290-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala; a 186-bed hospital located in west Marion County; 3 freestanding emergency departments located in southern Marion County, in Ocala, and in Wildwood. The Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center. The health system has been consistently growing over the course of the last seven years, having invested over $260 M in capital improvements through 2019, with another $50 M in for capital improvements for 2020. The health system also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF. **About Ocala:** Ocala is a remarkable town for raising a family and includes one of Florida's top elementary schools.
