Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular Pay Rate: $93.00 - 105.00

Immediate Need for General Surgery Physician.
  • The General Surgeon can be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years). The contract will start as soon as credentialing is complete and any State license is accepted for this opportunity.
  • The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4:00 pm and the General Surgeon will share in the call rotation.
The Indian Health Center in Oklahoma is in need of a General Surgeon for a 3-month contract with possible extensions. Claremore is a city in and the county seat of Rogers County in northeastern Oklahoma, United States. Located in the Ozark Mountains foothills, the city is part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area and home to Rogers State University. It is best known as the birthplace and home of early 20th-century entertainer Will Rogers. This area was part of the territory of the Osage, but they were forced out under a treaty with the United States. During the Indian Removal period and until statehood, this area was a reserve of the Cherokee Nation, which had been removed from its territory in the Southeast United States. This was within what was known as the Cherokee Cooweescoowee District.

Part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area, Claremore is chock-full of activities and attractions to suit all manner of interests. Historic downtown Claremore is an antiquer's dream, loaded with collectables, art and home décor shops. Wineries such as Oak Hills and Roberdes will delight vinophiles. The city's history is well documented by its several museums and sports fans will want to check out Will Rogers Raceway, named for Claremore's most famous resident.
