TeamHealth seeks a board-certified General Surgeon (MD or DO) to join our General Surgery Program in New Bern, North Carolina, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. Work among an established team of professionals! Relocation is not required due to the flexible schedule this position offers. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual who will support the staff and work in a collegial manner while demonstrating clinical excellence and superior communication skills with high patient satisfaction scores. Other requirements include an awareness of patient affordability issues and an attitude that places the patient above all other considerations. This clinician must provide quality care and be comfortable with a broad range of general surgical procedures. Credentials include board certification in General Surgery; an active or in process North Carolina license to practice; and a successful track record.
