Cross Country Locums is seeking General Surgery call coverage in Talbot County, Maryland.
Open Dates: Nov 1, 2019 to Ongoing. Start and end times still being discussed, but most likely 5pm Friday to 7am Monday. The first shift, you will need to complete Orientation which could include Epic training.Desired Schedule: (Friday through Monday morning)
November 1-3 November 22-24 December 25- Jan 1 possibly more into 2020
Work-site Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient, call only. On call physician will take unrestricted call and will have phone/beeper.
Scope of Work: Hernia Repair, Appendectomy, Bowel Surgery. This assignment is for a General Surgeon to provide on-call clinical services. Telephonic call for other locations. There are between 0-5 surgical cases per weekend, on average. 5 cases is rare. Bread and butter cases. Appendectomy, Gull bladder, colon resection, hernias, small bowel.
Requirements: Maryland license, BC
EMR/EHR system: Epic
