As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking a General Surgeon to join our growing team in New Jersey. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients and make diagnoses to determine the need for surgery
  • Perform surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols
  • Oversee all treatment prior to and post-surgery and identify associated risks

Required Qualifications:
  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New Jersey or has New Jersey application in process
  • Board Certification or board eligibility from American Board of Surgery
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Active New Jersey CDS License or ability to obtain prior to start
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in general surgery
