A hospital in Michigan is looking for a surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months, beginning in August 2019 through February 2020, with the possibility of an extension. During the assignment, the provider can expect to see between two and three surgical in-patients for cases of general adult, peds & trauma surgery, laparoscopic surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy), GI endoscopy (upper & lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy), chest tube insertion, and central line insertion. The provider must be comfortable with all ages, chest tube insertion, and central lines. The provider's schedule will be call on the weekends. This facility uses Meditech EHR.
