A new locum tenens general surgery opportunity is now available in Maryland. The facility needs a provider to work two weeks up to full-time doing bread and butter GS, and scopes and additional surgical skills are a plus. The locum tenens physician will have a caseload of 10 - 15 patients per day. This facility uses the Cerner EMR system. Candidates should be board certified, but board eligible physicians are welcome. An ACLS certification is needed as part of this assignment. Weatherby will help with all hospital privileging paperwork. The ideal candidate will be a local physician and have an active, unrestricted MD medical license in hand.
