A hospital in Louisiana is in need of a surgeon who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months starting in mid-July with a possible extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician will see around four patients during surgeries and between twenty and thirty patients in the clinic for a variety of cases including Da Vinci, Laparoscopic, General and Cervical. The provider's schedule would be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for two or three days a week. And for the other 2-3 days a week the provider would be doing surgeries for 8 hours 3-4 procedures a day. The locum will be on emergency call. This facility uses McKesson and Paragon EMR.
