Top Dollar - General Surgery - New Hampshire
> Start Month: as soon as cred.
> Length of Assignment: ongoing.
> Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days from return of completed application.
> Annual Volume: 1k (higher in the summer) mainly blunt trauma with 3%. penetrating Trauma level designation: Level II (ACS).
> Number of hospital beds: 209 ICU beds: 14 (and growing).
> Will accept: Must be Board Certified General Surgery, hospital strongly prefers to also be BC/ SCC. If no Surgical Critical
Fellowship has been completed, they must have 2 years recent trauma/ Acute Care Surgery experience (and case logs to support it).
> Life support requirements: must have ATLS.
> Physician shift times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
> Advanced Practitioner shifts times: 3 FT APP’s (2 rotate 7 on 7 off, 12hr shifts, 1 works M-F 7a-5p).
> Call requriements: 12hrs in-house call followed by 12hrs secondary call from home/hotel (30 mins response time). Our surgeons
respond to all trauma codes, emergency general surgery and round in the ICU (trauma patients only). There are also a few hours
of follow up clinic 1 day/week with APP.
> Scribes: N/A.
> Backup specialties: Ortho, Intervental radiology, neurosurgery, hybrid OR, Cardiac Surgery, etc. Excellent support in the ICU.
> Name of EMR system: Meditech.
> No new grads.
> Paid travel, lodging and medical malpractice.
> Will NOT license while credentialing.
> We provide the credentialing specialist that REDUCES the time and effort on your part.
> Harris Medical offers an excellent referral program of $1,000.00 for any leads that go to work!
