General/Trauma surgeon Needed in St. Louis, MO
- St. Louis based hospital is seeking an experienced general/trauma surgeon to join their established team
- Work out of a Level II Trauma Center.
- This is a 333-bed hospital that provides a primary stroke center, heart and vascular services, neurosciences and the latest imaging and outpatient services.
- Weekend ED call of 1:6
- Full spectrum of general surgery including laparoscopic and advanced laparoscopic procedures,
- DaVinci robotic system located at nearby sister hospital
- Large, solid referral base of employed and independent primary care physicians in the fastest growing area of the St. Louis region
- Employment includes a competitive base salary, signing and retention bonuses for 2 years, followed by wRVU based compensation
- Additional compensation for Trauma Call Coverage
- Occurrence based malpractice insurance
- Completion of a General Surgery Residency required
- Additional training in Trauma preferred, but not required
- Must be Board Certified in General Surgery
- DEA and ACLS certification
