Associate Trauma Medical Director Opportunity and Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Jacksonville area!

Trauma Program:

  • 230-bed Acute Care Facility
  • Level II Trauma Center (State Verified)
  • 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 30 min response (rarely called in)
  • ED Volume:115k; 54 beds
  • Emergency General Surgery & Trauma call
  • Trauma Team Activations Avg 700/ yr
  • Trauma Admissions Avg 1700/ yr
  • Penetrating: 11%; Blunt: 86.6%; Burn: 1.4%

Trauma Surgeon Criteria:

  • Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
  • ATLS Required
  • Leadership experience preferred
