VISTA's Permanent Placement Division is assisting a client looking for a General Surgeon to practice near DuBois. PA. Practice with one other surgeon and a very collegial medical staff who are willing to embrace the new physician. A few more highlights of this permanent, full-time position include:
* Block OR time
* Ability to work at an affiliated outpatient surgical center
* Surgicalist team in place to take all after hours, weekends, ED patients
* Would need to be available to manage own patients plus minimal inpatient consults from hospitalist group
* Bread & butter surgery, scope experience is a must have
* Service area 60k+
* Compensation is 350k, Bonus: $20k, loan assistance: $75k, relocation: $10k, housing: $12k/one year.
* Stipend available for residents of $1000/month until residency is complete
The community population is 12k with great public and private schools. This industrial community is known for its powdered metal, Straub brewery and majestic elk herds. Pittsburgh and the New York border is within a few hours' drive.
