A level III trauma center is seeking a trauma surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in southern Arizona.
The clinician will be on call with 3-4 calls every 24 hours. Rounding is required. The hospital has 75 beds and is stroke certified. The clinician will perform 2-3 surgeries per day, including laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, nissen fundoplication, upper and lower endoscopy, chest tubes placement, etc. Credentialing time takes 30 days. Fellowship is preferred and an Arizona license, ACLS, and ATLS are required. Board eligible or certified will be accepted.

Case Load/PPD: Will get about 3-4 calls per 24 hours. Locum will perform 2-3 surgeries per day which will include upper and lower GI, and Bread
