We are seeking an Associate Medical Director for our Trauma Program. This new position will assist with clinical responsibilities and administrative duties for an American College of Surgeons verified Level II Trauma Program. The position will generally have 80% responsibility with Trauma Surgery and 20% with General Surgery, and will report to the Trauma Program Medical Director. The Trauma Program admits approximately 1100 patients annually and is led by a strong Trauma Surgery panel with support from Advanced Practice Providers. This is a new position to assist a growing program with an interest in developing greater depth in performance improvement and quality assurance, as well as for future succession planning.

This position will join our group of over 400 healthcare providers in 30+ medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. We have a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base with an outstanding clinical and administrative support staff. We are affiliated with the regional leader in healthcare. There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.

Position requirements: BE/BC in General Surgery; preferred Trauma and/or Surgical Critical Care Fellowship training.
