Position description

Mayo Clinic Health System in WI is seeking a board eligible/board certified colorectal surgeon to join an established and collegial practice. Successful candidates should possess excellent clinical skills. You may expect a busy practice in a physician- led, financially stable organization committed to both high quality care and patient satisfaction.

• Call is 1:6 (Flexible call schedule)

Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare, is a multispecialty group/healthcare network employing more than 250 physicians and associate providers with a primary care population base of 240,000. Referrals to the General Surgery Department come from primary care physicians within our health system, including the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency Program with 16 residents and seven faculty. In addition to its main clinic/hospital in La Crosse, WI, where the position is based, we have 25-bed critical access hospital in Sparta, WI, and nine other clinics located in western WI, southern MN and northeastern IA within a 60-mile radius of La Crosse. This position would provide outreach services to other regional sites as part of the practice.

License or certification

Board-certified/Board-eligible in colorectal surgery and eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
