**The Community:**
Home to the world-famous, transplanted London Bridge, Lake Havasu City is a growing community of some 55,000 full-time residents. Winter visitors add another 25-40,000 seasonal residents between October and April.

Mohave Community College operates a full campus in Lake Havasu City with more than 2,000 students and offers specialized training for specific industries, including a comprehensive nursing program. Arizona State University (ASU) also has a satellite campus in Lake Havasu City offering students many options for a bachelors degree.
**Recreation:**
Lake Havasu has 60 miles of navigable waterways and is a recreation paradise featuring boating, fishing, water skiing and a variety of choices for relaxation. Both city and state parks offer full-service marina facilities. Lake Havasu City has an impressive recreation department that maintains an outstanding indoor aquatic activities center, community center and many neighborhood parks. Organized sports are offered to all age groups throughout the year. Golfers enjoy three beautiful 18-hole championship courses and two executive courses, all of which are open to the public.
