The Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is recruiting a full-time BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon. We are seeking a talented, contemporary surgeon with extensive experience in CABG, aortic surgery and surgical valve repair. BC as a primary operator in TAVR with a strong interest in VAD and ECMO.

CAMC is a 958-bed academic medical center and is central/southern West Virginia’s top health care provider with four hospitals and 700 physicians on staff and a workforce of 7,000 employees. CAMC is home to one of the highest volume heart programs in the nation.

Multidisciplinary care is provided via a team approach with surgery, interventional and structural cardiology supported by professionals with advanced cardiac imaging skills in CT, MRI and ECHO.

Under the auspices of the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine, CAMC is a growing academic medical center sponsoring 14 accredited medical residencies and fellowship programs, including a cardiovascular disease fellowship. CAMC is home to two regional medical school campuses. A new Center for Learning and Research, breaking ground in 2020, will house a 14,000 square foot simulation center and other facilities dedicated to our education and research programs.
