This Central Georgia health system is seeking an experienced Board Certified Cardiothoracic surgeon to join our employed group. Ideal candidates will be proficient in all CT procedures and minimally invasive valve surgery and repair; experience with VATS preferred.

You can expect:
* Excellent support including dedicated CV Surgery RN's and APP's
* A dedicated CV service line administrator
* 2 dedicated CVOR suites with GE PACS imagining and portable C-Arm
* Eight dedicated CV ICU beds with 24/7 intensivist and pulmonary support

We are offering an excellent compensation package consisting of a guaranteed base salary + WRVU bonus potential as well as a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), paid occurrence based malpractice, PTO, CME allowance, relocation, and marketing.

Our Heart Institute is an advanced cardiac center offering all services from non-invasive cardiology to open heart surgery and valve surgery. CHI boasts Joint Commission Primary Stroke Care Designation, has an Accredited Heart Failure and Chest Pain Center, has received Gold Plus Recognition for Stroke Care by American Heart Association for the fourth year in a row and is the only hospital in the area recognized for the timely treatment of STEMI heart attacks.
