This Birmingham Health System is seeking a Board certified/board eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join one of the largest multi-specialty health care organizations in AL in 2019. Job features include the following.

• Due to a physician’s retirement in July 2019, we have a need for an employed CT surgeon.
• We need someone with 3- 5 years of experience, vascular experience is helpful to provide a full spectrum of vascular, thoracic, cardiac surgery, and advanced heart failure surgery.
• Service Line Offerings: TEVAR, EVAR, TAVR, Mini-valves, ECMO (coming soon)
• Call 1:6
• 3 Cath Labs , 1 EP Lab, I Hybrid Suite in Cath Lab for Structural, Vascular and Multidisciplinary Cases (coming soon)
• Clinics at Birmingham Heart Clinic: Amputation Prevention, Aneurysm Care, AFib, Cardiac Device, Lipid Care, Pulmonary Hypertension and Vascular Medicine
• Clinic: Structural Heart & Valve
• Advanced Imaging Services: 128-slice CT for CTA TAVR, calcium scoring and all CTA procedures, 3D Echo, Nuclear
• Willing to hire MD or DO
• Willing to consider internationally trained plus their experience
• Greenway EMR
• Thoracentesis and minor procedures done in clinic
