Job description
Seeking a Cardiac Surgeon for coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Coon Rapids, MN. Emergency temp privileges available for providers with clean records.
Schedule
• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1:3 call rotation
• Call weeks include daytime coverage, overnight (5p–7a), and 24-hour weekend call
Priority Coverage Weeks
• March 16–22
• March 30–April 5
• April 20–26
• May 4–10
(Ongoing need beyond these dates)
Case Volume
• CABG/Valves: ~250 annually
• TAVR: ~200
• Mitral Clips: ~100
• Lead Extractions: ~35
Case Mix Includes
CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR/structural heart, LVAD, carotid endarterectomy, aortic aneurysm/dissection, AFib surgery, minimally invasive & robotic heart surgery, thoracoscopic procedures.
No EP cases. Oncology lung cases referred out.
Ideal Candidate
Proficient in cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
Requirements
• Board Certified
• Active MN license (or ability to obtain)
