A physician-led medical group

Our Medical Group brings together all of our employed providers into one comprehensive, multispecialty network serving residents of Kentucky, Indiana and neighboring states. Backed by our system of hospitals and led by experienced physicians who are distinguished in their fields, the group encompasses over 1,500 providers, including 800 physicians and more than 700 advanced practice clinicians. These professionals include primary care providers, as well as highly trained surgeons and specialists offering advanced treatments, technologies, and care.

While many of the Medical Group’s administrative functions are centralized, we recognize that healthcare is delivered on a very personal level. Therefore, the governing structure includes local leadership councils and operations staff in each of the system’s three regions to address each community’s unique needs. These councils work together to ensure that patients visiting one of our providers can expect the same quality care at each of our practices and in each of our hospitals – care that is appropriate, timely and centered on our valued patients.

About the Hospital

This opportunity is at our 519-bed tertiary-care hospital. The all-private room hospital provides virtually all inpatient services except for transplantation and burn care.

The hospital’s emergency services include special teams for heart attack and stroke care. Cancer services include two freestanding radiation centers and the Cancer Center, which also offers a cancer resource center and a multidisciplinary lung care clinic. Special services include women’s health, labor and delivery, digital mammography, ultrasound, and bone-density scanning for osteoporosis. Other areas of expertise include orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular services, wound care, behavioral health, occupational health, acute rehabilitation, and in-home.

The hospital has twice achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®.
