Hiring a Breast Surgeon for a vibrant and very busy Teaching Community Medical Center
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality breast surgery according to the latest techniques.
- Join a multi-disciplinary team approach with breast radiology, plastic & and reconstruction, general surgery and Chairman of Surgery.
- Deliver care in a patient-centered model.
- Provide timely consults as requested by private attendings.
- Lead a private practice with hours and schedule to accomodate patient needs and Hospital directives.
- Ensure the private practice is efficient, caring and flexible.
- Comply with all clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures
- Ensure the center obtains and retains accreditation as a certified breast center.
- Contribute to the Commission on Cancer responsible for sections assigned.
- Perform outreach in the community.
- Educate residents, medical students and nurses.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a Breast Surgeon; new grads considered.
- Valid NYS medical license
- MD/DO degree
- Graduate of Breast Fellowship Program
