Breast Surgeon Needed for Practice with Huge Potential
Downtown Birmingham, Alabama - Metro Population >1.1 Million

An established breast surgery practice in Birmingham, AL is hiring a BC/BE Breast Surgeon for a full-time, permanent, and employed position. Enjoy working within a health system that has a state-of-the art Cancer Center, Women’s & Children’s Services, over 400 bed in private rooms, and is known as Alabama’s Leader in Robotic Surgery.
  • 100% Breast Surgery Practice.
  • Patient population: 15,000.
  • 5 exam rooms with adequate space for expansion.
  • EMR in practice
  • In-office diagnostic breast health: digital mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic (Intact Breast Lesion Excision System) and ultrasound guided biopsy, balloon insertion for accelerated partial breast irradiation (Mammosite and Contura). Same day diagnosis. On-site radiologist available. Genetic counseling and BRACA testing available when indicated.
  • No General Surgery Call and NO ER Call. Thyroid biopsies and thyroid aspirations are not required of the new surgeon.
