The UPMC Altoona Breast Health Center is a comprehensive breast health center providing services to patients referred by 70+ primary care physicians in the community and those who self-refer from throughout our region. The Practice medical office offers consultation, imaging studies, clinical breast exams and minimally invasive breast biopsies. UPMC Altoona offers breast tomosynthesis and the services of board-certified, fellowship trained diagnostic radiologists and an oncology nurse navigator – in place to assist newly diagnosed patients to understand their diagnosis, determine steps for care and appropriately schedule that care.
