Breast Surgeon – Pittsburgh, PA

Physician Recruitment

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgical Institute is recruiting a full-time Breast Surgeon to join our team serving the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Highlights

  • Five multidisciplinary Breast Centers
  • NAPBC certified program
  • Weekly multidisciplinary Breast Tumor Board meetings.
  • Dedicated Breast Radiologists
  • Team of Breast Surgeons, Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologists, Plastic Surgeons, Nurse Navigators, Genetic Counselors, Breast Center Nurses, and Physician Assistants.
  • Lymphedema program with PT/OT
  • Johns Hopkins affiliation with participation in national clinical research trials.
  • Academic setting with general surgical residents and breast fellowship program.
  • Current equipment and technology. ERAS system paired with our anesthesia team.

Job Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Fellowship Training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology
  • Pennsylvania Medical License
  • Obtain DEA for full prescriptive ability

Preferences

  • Breast Surgery Experience, but not required
  • Clinical research experience and publication writing
  • Ability to teach breast fellows and general surgery residents
  • Desire to be part of a progressive and growing team
