This is a new position for General/MIS and Bariatrics. It’s a role designed to rebuild a surgical service at the hospital and bring back patients who currently seek care elsewhere, or are referred elsewhere by GI and other specialists. We are looking to build this platform and keep patients within our hospital system. We do have a robust primary care base, a Cancer center, and GI service that would provide sufficient referral volume, and with the hire of a new surgeon the hospital would invest in marketing and program development.
