• The practice is mostly clinical utilizing ultrasound technology for diagnosis and treatment options and providing consult service for the inpatient setting and have only clinic hour call requirements.
• While a rheumatologist will see 16-20 outpatients per day, hospitalists manage inpatients and infusions are administered at the Altru Cancer Center, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Altru Main Clinic.
• Referrals consistently come from within Altru Health System as well as from our service area of approximately 220,000 population; contributing to a growing demand for rheumatology services.
• You will join a multi-specialty team of physicians at Altru Health System as an employed physician.
The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences located in Grand Forks. Offers opportunities to teach medical students and residents on rotation with additional teaching exposure opportunities on campus. Altru has a Family Medicine Residency program and UND has a Surgical Residency program.
