Rheumatology opportunity in Maine

Location: Maine

Duration: April 1, 2020 – August 14, 2020 (possibility of extension)

Schedule: Outpatient, Monday-Friday, 4-5 days per week.

Call: 1:3, Light call with 24-hour hospitalist service

Patients per day: 16-18

Hospital Affiliated: 112 bed Catholic community, EPIC EMR

Practice & Position Details:

• Vibrant up and coming, affordable city where the average age is 35.
• Joining mature practice of 3 Rheumatologists, dedicated medical assistant for each provider.
• 4 or 5 day work week, 32-36 patient contact hours, light call with 24-hr Hospitalist Service.
• General Rheumatology Practice. Must be BC/BE in Rheumatology.
• State-of-the-art Infusion Center, Telemedicine imbedded and dedicated ultrasound.
• Practice located at Outpatient Service Healthcare Park just 2 miles from the hospital.

The Maine Discovery Museum has hands-on exhibits on nature, science and the arts, geared to kids. Nearby, the University of Maine Museum of Art focuses on modern and contemporary works. To the north, Bangor City Forest is crossed by trails and inhabited by beaver and deer.

Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology. Active Maine License
