UTMB Health is a billion-dollar health science center comprised of four schools (the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Health Professions, and the School of Nursing), three institutes and over 10 exceptional research centers. UTMB was also the first academic health center in Texas and is home to the state’s first schools of medicine, nursing and allied health sciences. We are also a research site for a Treat-to-Target research trial which is a NIH sponsored trial out of Harvard.
