A nationally recognized health system in New Hampshire is looking for a Section Chief of Rheumatology.


Opportunity Details

  • The new Section Chief will lead Rheumatology?s clinical and research operations
  • Inpatient and outpatient services, with outpatient visits numbering more than 12,000 annually
  • Academic medical center caring for an incredibly diverse group of patients
  • Teaching and research are core parts of our mission
  • Robust clinical trials program in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Basic scientific research in innate and adaptive immunity is extramurally funded by the NIH, Department of Defense, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
  • The team includes 10 Rheumatologists, 3 advanced practice professionals, and a dedicated team of nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel
  • The chief collaborates with a Practice Manager and Nurse Manager to lead and manage clinical operations
  • The ideal candidate will have past leadership experience in the areas of research, clinical care, practice management, teaching, and mentoring faculty members
  • Academic appointment at the level of Associate or full Professor
