JOB DESCRIPTION:
Excellent opportunity for a Psychiatry Residency Program Director to provide professional expertise and leadership to a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in beautiful North Carolina. We offer Top Tier Compensation and generous, extensive benefits.
Experience teaching in an approved AOA or ACGME Psychiatry Residency or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program and experience with publications and grant writing skills preferred. Applicant must be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The Program Director will:
Provide administrative leadership and direction to the program
Provide direct patient care and supervision residency support staff
Develop, revise, and maintain curriculum
Lead in residents’ performance improvement plans
Coaching, remediation and disciplinary activities as needed
Ensure Annual Program Evaluation with Accreditation Council for GME
