The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging to join our expanding team of collaborative physicians.

The Radiology Department is an academic practice in which the radiologists serve as faculty for the ACGME Diagnostic Residency programs at Tufts Medical Center and have appointments with the Tufts University School of Medicine. Faculty members are actively engaged in radiology resident and medical student education including teaching conferences, multidisciplinary conferences, and academic projects. Protected academic time for scholarly activity and research is provided.

We care for all patients from the tiniest newborns at our full-service pediatric hospital, Floating Hospital for Children to centenarians in our specialized Geriatrics clinic. Conveniently located in downtown Boston, the Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine.

How you will transform patient care:

  • You will have a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
  • You will have oversight of clinical, academic and administrative aspects of MSK Imaging.
  • You will lead the research and teaching in MSK
  • You will develop, maintain and optimize imaging protocols + procedures.
  • You will recruit and partake in faculty development.
  • You will join and collaborate with a large team of radiologists
  • You will join a team of faculty members who are actively engaged in resident and medical student education including teaching conferences, multidisciplinary conferences, and research projects.

Who you are:

· Board Certified in Radiology with a completed fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging.

· Leadership experience required

· Able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license

· Passionate and interested in teaching and building a busy clinical practice

· A team player who works cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines that fosters excellence in patient care and enhances patient experience.
