Job Description & Requirements
Interventional Radiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 24;Weekend;On Call;9 Pay Rate: $213.00 - 225.00

This facility is looking for locum tenens support as they look to grow their current staff.

This opportunity offers:
  • 1-2 weeks per month; Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM; Weeknight Call; 24 Hour weekend call
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required
  • Fellowship training is required, Vascular & Interventional Radiology
  • Active and unrestricted North Dakota License (willing to license while credentialing)
  • Electronic Medical Record experience (EPIC)
  • All Schedule/Responsibilities: Study/procedures: All the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Procedures;
    • Current list of procedures that our IR team performs:
    o Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy
    • Diagnostic vascular intervention
    · Angiography – venous and arterial
    • Therapeutic vascular intervention
    · Angioplasty – venous and arterial
    · Stenting (venous and arterial)
    · Thrombolytic therapy
    · Embolization therapy
    • Interventional (body, non-neuro)
    • Vascular access devices/PICCS
    • Central lines
    • Port a cath insertions
    • IVC Filters
    • TIPS
    • Aspiration/drainage procedures
    • Percutaneous Needle Biopsies (Above & Below diaphragm, and Bone)
    • Extractions (Biliary & Renal)
    • Abscess drainage
    • Thoracentesis
    • Paracentesis
    • Myelography
    • Pain management procedures
    • Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography
    • Blood patch
    • Joint/epidural injections
    • Vertebroplasty
    • Arthrograms
    • Chest tube insertion
    • Uterine artery embolization
    • Yttrium-90 (Y90) transarterial radioembolization
    • Gastrostomy tube insertion
    • Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion
    • Renal histograms,
    • Cryoablation
