Interventional Neurology in Connecticut
StartDate: ASAP

St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center are seeking a qualified neurologist (MD or DO) or interventional neuroradiologist for an open position in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a wonderful opportunity for the incoming candidate to join a hospital on track to becoming a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Perform procedures in an interventional radiology room with a biplane unit at the hospital
  • Receive full anesthesia support from anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and anesthesiology residents
  • 1:3 call schedule
  • Interventional neurologist: ability to see stroke patients in clinic for follow-ups and assist with the stroke programs at acute hospitals within the St. Francis system
  • Interventional neuroradiologist: ability to perform general neurology reads

Preferred Qualifications
Neuro resid. (4 yr), stroke or neurocritical care fellows. (1-2 yr), INR fellows. (1-2 yr) for a total of 7-8 years, * top choice
Diagnostic rad resid. (5 yr), followed by neuroradiology fellows (1 yr), Intervent-Neurolo R fellow. (1-2 yr)
