Skill and experience required:
General radiology, abdominal imaging, orthopedic studies, CT, ultrasound. Credentialing in 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) is not required, but desirable. Ability to interpret MRI, and specific training (Fellowship) in Body Imaging would be valuable, but not required.
Radiologists do not perform biopsies, drainage or invasive procedures, obstetrical imaging, neonatal or pediatric imaging, major trauma imaging, nuclear medicine or molecular imaging studies.
Radiologists are on duty (on-site) from 8 am until 6 pm during the week and a rotating half-day on Saturdays. There are no night-time studies and no emergency or on-call interpretations.Access is available to nearby PACS systems to compare previous studies. Speech recognition software is utilized. Would consider candidates who prefer only 3 or 4 days per week.
