Details include:
- Monday - Friday 8a - 5p
- Occasional weekend day
- No Call
- Roughly 60% OP and 40% IP plus ER. Weekends are all IP and ER cases
- Support staff includes a clerk who is present at all times in the reading room. IT support 24/7 by phone or in person if needed
Required skillset includes:
- Clinical expertise in all aspects of cardiothoracic imaging including chest radiography, chest and cardiac CT/MRI and image-guided biopsy are desired
- Typically we would want people who are able to read both chest x-rays and chest CT scans, depending on the daily need. 125 -150 chest x-rays per day, if reading only chest x-rays. If only chest CTs, about 30 -35 per day
- Weekend day shifts, which typically involve require 55 chest x-rays plus 25 chest CT scans.
Must be board certified and have a CA license
