Division Head of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in Michigan
StartDate: ASAP

The Department of Academics at Merritt Hawkins has partnered with Henry Ford Health System and the Department of Radiology to recruit additional faculty leadership to one of the most prestigious health systems in the country. We are seeking a dynamic leader for this very important role as Division Head of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. This is an extremely stable and tenured division with 6 board-certified nuclear physicians, 28 technologists, radiopharmacist, and 2 medical physicists. The incoming candidate will be replacing a long-standing Division Head who will be retiring in 2020.

Position: Division Head, Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
  • Seeking candidate that is board certified in Radiology with special competency in Nuclear Radiology by the ABR or ABNM. Candidates should have broad experience in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Well established, full-service nuclear medicine division (providing therapy, PET/CT, and cardiac nuclear imaging), with 6 physician staff.
  • Leader will need to be able to drive collaborations with other departments within the system and take advantage of the significant growth of the Cancer Center. A significant mission will be to drive growth and expansion of therapeutic services within the division.

Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), located in Detroit, Michigan, is one of the world’s most distinguished academic medical centers. The Division Head will provide oversight for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging within the Department of Radiology for the Henry Ford Medical Group (HFMG). The Division provides services to multiple hospitals within the system, with planned expansion.
