We are currently searching for an experienced full or part time Chief Diagnostic Radiologist to join the staff of major acute care hospital in Bar Harbor Maine. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town located on Maine's Mount Desert Island next to Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is one of the favorite tourist destinations on the East Coast, offering historic charm, a beautiful coastline, and a range of activities. Nestled within the town is the Hospital with an outstanding imaging team that was the first in the nation to achieve designation as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence™ (DICOE) by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Candidates must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and be licensed to practice in the state of Maine. The ideal candidate should have five years of experience and be proficient across the entire spectrum of radiological services including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, 3D Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Diagnostic Imaging. The candidate should be well versed in performing biopsies, drainages, needle localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies, & arthrography.
