Mammography Physician in Pennsylvania
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 5 days a week Pay Rate: $400000.00 - 500000.00
Located approximately 20 miles outside of Lexington, Kentucky, this medical center is a 79-bed, community hospital with over 75 physicians on staff. CRMC is part of LifePoint Health out of Brentwood, Tennessee. The $70 million replacement facility and campus opened in 2012. The 131,000 square foot facility offers diagnostic services, Emergency Medicine services, Labor and Delivery suites, private patient rooms and a skilled nursing facility. The 45,000 square foot medical plaza, located on the campus, houses primary, specialty and urgent care clinics, Diagnostic Center for Women, rehabilitation center and an anticoagulation clinic.
The imaging center at CRMC offers digital technology including 3D digital mammography, stereo tactic biopsies, ultrasound and bone density testing. The center is accredited by the following:
The incoming candidate will be the Medical Director of Radiology for the Hospital. He or she can expect to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The reads for the radiologist has averaged about 44 per day, but the set-up allows for additional reads dependent upon the radiologists comfort level. The incoming radiologist will be expected to perform light IR procedures. Light Interventional Radiology procedures performed at the hospital include:
The radiologist can expect to take part in a 1:4 weekend call rotation. The call coverage can be handled by Teleradiology at home as he or she will have workstation set-up at houses. The call covers a few other foundation facilities in which the radiologist will also be credentialed.
Important to note that the previous radiologist was producing 19,000 wRVU’s annually. This is an option but is not required. This radiologist also made an extra $100,000 above and beyond the normal compensation levels for this work

- Certified by the Food and Drug Administration Mammography Quality Standards Act and Program (FDA/MQSA) for Mammography.
- Accredited by the American College of Radiology for over 20 years for Mammography .
- Accredited by the American College of Radiology in Stereotactic Breast Biopsy.
