StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8 Pay Rate: $228.00 - 240.00

A radiology group in the Salt Lake City, with a very robust interventional practice, is looking for an ABR certified, fellowship trained vascular interventional Radiologist. This positions schedule is Monday through Friday with hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, there is opportunity to work evening and on call schedules over the weekends should this physician desire. In addition, this facility will need help one or two weeks of the month. The Radiologist will rotate between several outpatient sites. The average procedure volume per day is six to eight procedures and reading between 25-35 diagnostic studies daily (42 work RVU’s per shift).

The radiologist position is 70% interventional and 30% reading general diagnostic studies. The locums radiologist will see a full spectrum of interventional services including: PVD, venous access, aortic stent grafts, stroke inter-vention, UFE, varicose vein treatment, angioplasty, carotid stenting thrombolysis/ thrombectomy, dialysis vascular care, IVC filter placement/retrieval, hepatobiliary interventions, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, pain management procedures, central line placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, image-guided biopsies/drains, and TIPS.

The site uses several Centricity and Novarad for their PACS systems and Fluency, Carestream, and Power Scribe 360 for the voice recognition systems depending on the worksite.
